I will be traveling to South Korea this summer with a KY delegation to attend the Seoul International Conference on Urban Agriculture and other special events. The delegation is made up of 11 Kentuckians representing local universities and nonprofits. The trip will be a great opportunity for Kentucky to make global connections in the areas of agriculture and food. As the organizer, I have been working hard for the past several months to make this trip happen. Due to the workload involved with the preparation and the time required for the actual trip, I will resume the YAGO project in June after returning from the Korea trip.
More content and features will be added to this site after my trip. I will seek new grant opportunities to get closer to my vision. Innovative partnerships will be pursued to be better connected locally and globally. Bold marketing events will be prepared to promote our project and products. In the meantime, I hope that this site will serve the visitors as the place where they can learn some basic facts about the YAGO project and products.
Orders have to wait till June, but please feel free to contact me anytime via email or Facebook with any comments or questions you may have about my project, YAGO products, or future plans. I’d like to hear from those interested in joining me in creating a multicultural community agri-food co-op.
Regards,
Jeong Hyun An (a.k.a. Ann Montgomery)
